CJHSLA urges parents to ask: Who are these people? And why are they in our schools?

Muslim, Jewish educators swap ideas

Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors Los Angeles (CJHSLA) is alarmed that concern for our children’s lives and safety has become secondary to a national obsession with diversity and “interfaith dialogue.” CJHSLA warns that our children are being used as pawns in a global effort to promote Islam from behind a curtain of American “multiculturalism.”

In Greensboro North Carolina last week, three Muslim “educators” from the southern Philippines toured the facilities of two American high schools – one public, the other a private Jewish school – as part of a trip organized by the U.S. State Department. The tour will last two more weeks, with stops in Washington, Buffalo, Tulsa and Los Angeles.

These visitors come from an “autonomous Muslim region” in the southern Philippines, an area designated as a “terrorist safe haven” by the very same State Department that brought them here! One of the three “educators” – ostensibly here to “swap ideas” - is someone named Abu Bakar, described in the Greensboro News-Record as the administrator of an “Islamic institute.”

In the Philippines, his students study secular subjects
in the morning and spend afternoons with the Quran.

CJHSLA is gravely concerned that from the highest levels of the State Department down to our local school officials, individuals may become so impressed with their own progressivism that they neglect due diligence with respect to such “diverse” visitors. CJHSLA founder and president Doris Wise Montrose asks, “Who are these people and why are we letting them into our schools?”

CJHSLA therefore urges all Americans to take increased responsibility for our schools by practicing personal vigilance: “We need to know who these people are before they come into our schools, not after the fact when it’s already too late.”

Montrose points out that it was only weeks ago that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice personally intervened to insist that Arab Muslim “Fulbright scholars” from HAMAS-controlled Gaza be allowed to travel to the United States to attend American universities. The State Department eventually had to revoke the visas of three of those students because they were found to be “security risks” – but not before one of them had already landed at an American airport.

CJHSLA vigorously condemns those government and school officials, both public and private, who allow our children to be used as pawns in the ideological struggle between Islamism and the Judeo-Christian traditions of western civilization. CJHSLA demands that a line be drawn at the safety and wellbeing of the children in our schools.

“There’s tolerance, and then there’s tolerance, and the State Department doesn’t know the difference, “ says Montrose. “If we want to close that gap, and we close it we must, we have to do it ourselves through the efforts and vigilance of regular everyday people in each of our own communities.”

Starting, perhaps, in Greensboro, Washington, Buffalo, Tulsa and yes, Los Angeles.

Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness about the network of anti-Western and anti-Semitic extremists who march under the banner of global jihad. It insists that, among the commitments imposed upon people of good will by the last Holocaust, there must be a political commitment to prevent the next one. CJHSLA is dedicated to the protection of freedom and actively promotes the right of the State of Israel to not only exist, but to flourish as a Jewish state, understanding that a safe and secure Israel is vital to America’s national interest and is a prerequisite to a genuine peace in the Middle East.
